- Stay at home as much as you can, only go to work if you cannot work from home.

- Regularly wash your hands with soap and water, every 20 minutes or with hand sanitizer.

Do not leave home if you or someone you live with has either:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
If your symptoms are mild, you'll usually be advised to not leave your home for at least 7 days.
Anyone you live with should not leave your home for 14 days.

- wash your hands with soap and water often – sing ‘Happy Birthday’ twice for the duration it takes to wash your hands.
- always wash your hands when you get home or into work
- use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
- cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
- put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
- avoid close contact with people who have symptoms of coronavirus
- only travel on public transport if you need to
- work from home, if you can
- use phone, online services, or apps to contact your GP surgery or other NHS service
- always wash your hands when you get home or into work
