Adele was in tears on a recent post to her Instagram and Twitter after she had to announce she will be postponing her Las Vegas residency âWeekends with Adeleâ.
The "Easy On Me" singer postponed her entire residency just 24 hours before the first show. "Iâm so sorry, but my show ainât ready". "Half my team have Covid and it's been impossible to finish the showâ". Friday wouldâve been the first of 24 concerts at the Caesars Palaceâs Colosseum. Originally announcing the show in late November, Adele would perform two shows every weekend until April. The shows would have been her first live concert in 5 years, along with two dates in Hyde Park in London this Summer. Adele had apologised to fans who had travelled down to Las Vegas for the opening weekend: "Iâm sorry, itâs last minute. Iâm so upset and I'm really embarrassed and Iâm so sorry to everyone thatâs travelled again". Adele also added in the post that she will reschedule all the dates. Fans have been supportive of the singer on social media, saying it was the right decision and wishing both Adele and her team well. See Adele's post below:â
