Ariana Grande returned to Manchester to headline Manchester Pride 2019. This has marked Grande's first performance in the city since her One Love Manchester benefit, which was held 2 years go on June 4, 2017.
Prior to the event, Grande tweeted, "On our way to manchester pride. Love you so much. Can’t wait to give you all our love. You’re my heart in every way. See you soon." She even bedazzled her manager, Scooter Braun's, face for the Pride event.
Her return was a very emotional day. Just two years ago on May 22, 2017, a suicide bomber killed 22 people at a nearby railway station while she was finishing her concert at the Manchester Arena. Because of her benefit concert and charitable work, Grande became an honorary citizen by the Manchester City Council.
Grande performed the headlining Manchester Pride set on Sunday (August 25) closing out the festival. Grande kicked things off with her hit, "No Tears Left to Cry." Fans were thrilled to see Grande back in the city, especially for an event to celebrate LGBTQ+ people.

Miley Cyrus says it was Liam Hemsworth’s decision to officially end their marriage.
People reports "Slide Away" hitmaker did not expect her husband to file for divorce so soon after they called it quits. In fact, sources say she's a little disappointed. “She didn’t expect it and is a bit disappointed, but she is still doing well and has obviously moved on as well,” an insider explained.
Despite the breakup, the insider says Cyrus has no regrets and that it's just hard to imagine a life without Hemsworth. “What she and Liam had for a long time was very special,” the insider added. “It’s just hard for her to think that she will never have this again with Liam. There are really so many things that she loves about him.”
The report comes weeks after TMZ published a story detailing all the ways in which the pop star tried to save her marriage with Hemsworth. Sources say the actor and singer were "struggling with various issues for months" and she pushed for them to go see a therapist, but he "didn't come close to meeting her halfway."
Last weekend, there seemed to be hope for the couple after E! News reported the pair's families were urging them to reconsider getting a divorce. "Their families have urged them to take some time to breathe before they make any final decisions," an insider said. "They are both upset about how this has blown up and are both hurting right now."
However, not even 24 hours later, Hemsworth seemingly put an end to their decade-long romance for good.

5 Seconds of Summer released their latest single and music video for "Teeth."
After releasing "Easier", the new track once again takes us into the darker side of the band. The record also features Tom Morello on electric guitar.
The music video shows the members in a medical test facility where they're guinea pig test subjects for an undisclosed drug. Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford venture off into hallucinations in their minds.
The track acts as the second single from the band's upcoming album and will also be on the 13 Reasons Why: Season 3 soundtrack.
"'Teeth' came about after a month or two long blur of writing and pushing ourselves to go a step further than Youngblood,” Hemmings said. “It was a tumultuous time in my life and the lyrics in the song definitely reflect that. It speaks lyrically about a trying time in my current relationship. Musically it’s another step forward from ‘Easier’ and really embraces industrial sounds and rhythms."
Hemmings went on to share that collaborating with the producers on the album helped the band capture "the soul of 5 Seconds of Summer." He also revealed that it's his favorite song the band has released thus far.

Bebe Rexha shared a sexy photo of herself donning a black bra and underwear, while taking aim at a male music industry executive, who told her that she was "getting too old" to share sexy pictures of herself online.
"I recently had a MALE music executive tell me that I was getting too old and that my brand was “confusing.” Because... I’m a songwriter and I post sexy pics on my Instagram and that’s not what female songwriters are [supposed] to do, especially for my age. I’m 29," Rexha wrote in the Instagram caption.
"I’m fed up with being put in a box. I make my own rules. I’m tired of women getting labeled as “hags” when they get old and guys get labeled as sexy with age. Anyways, I’m turning 30 on August 30 and you know what, I’m not running away from it," Rexha shared.
"I’m not gonna lie about my age or sing songs that I feel will sell better because they sound “younger.” I’m gonna celebrate my age because you know what, I’m wiser, I’m stronger and TRUST ME I’m a much better lover than I was 10 years ago," she concluded.
Rexha followed up the Instagram post with tweets to tell her fans that there is "no age you can't be sexy" and that she is not afraid to speak out about the subject matter.
Celebrities and fans were quick to support Rexha and share some of their own stories of age discrimination and body image confidence.
Taylor Swift left a comment on her post. Swift told Rexha to "drag them" and "29-year-olds unite". Rexha freaked out over Swift's comment. "Taylor commented on my pic. I’m dead. Literally, my heart stopped. Dead dead dead," Rexha tweeted with a crying emoji.

Lauren Jauregui confirmed that 2020 will be the year of her debut solo album!
“I got you guys, I promise,” she told Billboard on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet, where she revealed she plans to release her album next year. On Sunday (August 11), Jauregui took home the TCA for Choice Female Artist.
Jauregui released her debut single, "Expectations," in October 2018. It was followed by "More Than That," which was released in January 2019. Fans have been patiently waiting for a full album of songs after Jauregui teased that she is writing and recording new music.
"I'm gravitating a lot towards guitar, more towards alternative mixed with R&B sounds, so it's kind of like, in that realm," she revealed to ET last year. "But I'm not really 100 percent set on any tone yet."
"I’m so proud of the way that I’ve been able to articulate my point of view," she told Billboard. "I’m emo, so you’re gonna get some deep, dark lyrics from my soul, but some bops too…It’s gonna be really fun. I’m really excited to share it with the world, but I’m just kind of packaging everything and still finishing up some songs."

Harry Styles has reportedly been cast as Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid.
According to The Disney Insider, the former One Direction singer has officially signed on to play the role opposite Halle Bailey's Ariel in Disney's upcoming live-action remake. As of right now, the news has not been confirmed by either Styles or the casting directors, but we're hoping the speculation is true.
After all, he'd make a great fit. Not only does Styles look like Prince Eric, but he's proven he's got the acting chops it takes for the role after starring in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk. He also knows how to sing and though the character doesn't in the movie, maybe the new version will take advantage of Styles' voice.
Regardless, fans are definitely excited to see Styles play Prince Eric:

BTS is taking some well deserved time to relax.
The K-pop group’s label ,Big Hit Entertainment, took to Twitter on August 11 to announce that the singers are taking an “official and extended period of rest and relaxation,” noting that their scheduled appearance at Sunday’s Lotte Duty Free Family Concert will be the group's last performance prior to their rest period.
“This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators,” the statement continued. “This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly.”
Big Hit Entertainment concluded by asking fans to respect the singers’ privacy should they have a “chance encounter” with the group in public. “BTS will return refreshed and recharged to return all the love you have and continue to show them.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly broken up after less than a year of marriage.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a representative for Cyrus told People. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Rumors of a breakup began to swirl after Cyrus posted numerous images on her Instagram of her without her wedding ring on Saturday (Aug. 10).
The photos were taken on vacation with Brody Jenner's ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter, who split with Jenner this past week after one year of marriage. Carter posted two images of her and Cyrus while vacationing on Lake Como in Italy. In a since-deleted comment, Jenner left a comment on one of the posts. "Hot girl summer," Jenner wrote with a flame emoji.
ET shared images of Cyrus and Carter kissing while out in the sun in Italy.
In a Vanity Fair interview earlier this year, Cyrus described her sexuality as a "queer person" in a "hetero relationship."

Taylor Swift invited her best fans into her UK home for an early listening party to her upcoming album, Lover.
For the last few albums, Swift has had fans over to her homes in a number of different cities to listen to her upcoming album before the release date, she calls the events the "Secret Sessions." Swift handpicks the fans she finds on social media who haven't met her yet.
Fans traveled from different parts of the world including Singapore and Hong Kong to attend the "listening" event. She also made baked goods for her fans with homemade "Lover" cookies, rice-krispie treats and even bought custom M&Ms. Isn't that the cutest!
For the lucky fans that got to hear the album early, they all agree that it does not disappoint. The second track on the album is 'reportedly a bop', and when asked what the album sounded like, an attendee explained that it was produced similar to her fifth studio album, 1989.
Swifties also claimed that there are a few self-written songs off the album and one song, track ten, that made everyone in the room cry!
Apart from the music & food, fans were also treated to exclusive merch. Swifties walked away with a "Secret Sessions" tote bag and pin along with sunglasses and other merchandise items.
Lover debuts on Aug. 23 across all good streaming platforms.
Camila Cabello always looks AMAZING whilst onstage and on the red carpet. However, of course, she doesn't always feel like her best self.
In an Instagram story that was initially meant to celebrate the two-year anniversary of her hit, "Havana," but she ended up responding to all the people who have been body shaming her as well as her own insecurities about her body.
"I haven't gone on social media AT ALL with the conscious intention of avoiding things that hurt my feelings," she wrote in the post on Saturday (August 3), "but for a second I forgot while trying to find a pic to post about it being Havana's 2 year anniversary and my eyes accidentally ran over a headline of people body shaming me."
But while she acknowledges those issues, she doesn't want her young fans to feel like they need to achieve "a perfection that's not real."
"Honestly first thing I felt was super insecure just IMAGINING what these pictures must look like, oh no! My cellulite! Oh no! I didn't suck in my stomach!" she wrote in the post. "But then I was like... of course there are bad pictures, of course there are bad angles, my body's not made of fucking rock, or all muscle, for that matter, but the saddest part of young girls growing up in an airbrushed world is they're seeking a perfection that's not real."
She continued, "I'm writing this for girls like my little sister who are growing up on social media. They're constantly seeing photoshopped, edited pictures and thinking that's reality, and everyone's eyes get used to seeing airbrushed skin, an suddenly they think THAT'S the norm. ?!!! It isn't. It's fake. AND FAKE IS BECOMING THE NEW REAL. We have a completely unrealistic view of a woman's body. Girls, cellulite is normal, fat is normal. It's beautiful and natural. I won't buy into bulls**t today!"
