Britney Spears’ Conservatorship Has Officially Been Terminated After 13 Years

After almost 14 years of living under a conservatorship, Britney Spears is free.

​Britney's fiance Sam Asghari celebrated the outcome of the hearing, posting a pink square to his page with the word "Freedom".

​The ruling on the legal arrangement is "effective today... thereby terminated" a judge said, reported by Sky News.

Britney shared in a tweet: "I can't freaking believe it !!!! Again … best day ever !!!!,"
