BTS ARMY created a viral campaign to cast member, Jimin, as Prince Eric in Disney's upcoming live-action Little Mermaid remake.
ARMY have called Jimin the "prince of K-pop" and have also mentioned he has the "perfect jawline" and hair to play the role of Prince Eric. ARMYs have begged Disney to keep the diverse cast going with the addition of Jimin. People have speculated that the role of Prince Eric already went to Nick Jonas after he tweeted: "Yes. Can't wait." to the news that Bailey will be playing Ariel. There is no official release date set for the film, but it is speculated that they will begin filming in 2020.
