After a whirlwind couple of months, it’s officially almost June and for BTS and ARMYs and that can only mean one thing: It’s time for BTS FESTA 2020.
Following a small teaser posted to BTS’s official Twitter on May 28, the group has finally unveiled the full schedule for their annual event, and it looks like we are in for a treat. This year's FESTA celebrations will officially kick off on June 1 with an “Opening Ceremony” and wrap up on June 13 with Bangtan's Saengpa (or, Bangtan's Birthday Party) to coincide with the seventh anniversary of the septet’s debut. Held since 2014, FESTA is two weeks packed with exclusive Bangtan content — and it's needed now more than ever this year. As is custom during FESTA, the calendar is stocked with choreography videos, family portraits, and photo collections. On June 5, we will get a still unknown project called “Still With You,” which could very well be a new song (for reference, that exact time last year we got Jin’s heartwrenching solo “Tonight”). In a small intermission during FESTA, BTS will also appear and perform at YouTube's virtual graduation ceremony on June 6. On June 11, a very ominous “Map of the Song: 7” video will drop and the next day it’s possible that we could be getting a music video (or perhaps even performance) of Map of the Soul: 7’s “We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal.”
