BTS is taking some well deserved time to relax.
The K-pop group’s label ,Big Hit Entertainment, took to Twitter on August 11 to announce that the singers are taking an “official and extended period of rest and relaxation,” noting that their scheduled appearance at Sunday’s Lotte Duty Free Family Concert will be the group's last performance prior to their rest period. “This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators,” the statement continued. “This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly.” Big Hit Entertainment concluded by asking fans to respect the singers’ privacy should they have a “chance encounter” with the group in public. “BTS will return refreshed and recharged to return all the love you have and continue to show them.
