Charlie Puth And His 'TikTok album'

The songwriter has revealed that his new album will be called "Charlie" and that it has already been finished. He also says that during quarantine, the singer discovered that he didn't like the music he had written in 2019 and when he discovered the TikTok app, it changed his perspective on songwriting and composing.

As I mentioned, the artist wanted to distance away from that past music as he said it didn't authentically represent him and he feels that all he was trying to do at the time was to be a ‘cool guy’.

Thanks to the time off that the 2020 quarantine gave him (and all of us), he got a good rest and downloaded TikTok (I'm sure more than one of us did the same). This app helped him connect better with fans and he declares that it is a safe place. Also, the app allows him to contact and see the sensibilities of people all over the world.

When he released a small snippet of his new single Light Switch on TikTok he saw that many people made acapella versions, versioned the music base... So, Charlie's goal is that everyone knows at least the title of all the songs on his next album before it comes out, all this thanks to TikTok of course.
