Disneyland Paris will close again as France heads back into lockdown to fight a second wave of coronavirus infections, the company said on Thursday.
Disneyland Paris had shut down in March to help fight the pandemic and and has a phased reopening in July, reducing the parks capacity of people ever since. The park had shut down again at the end of the day Oct. 29.
The park hopes to open for the Christmas period from December 19 - January 3, then closing again for another 2 months in 2021. Under French measures that take effect on today, people will be required to stay in their homes except to buy essential goods, seek medical attention or exercise for up to one hour a day. They will be permitted to go to work if their employer deems it impossible for them to do the job from home. Schools will stay open.
