The “Nightmare” singer reflected on the period of her life in an interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine for next month’s issue.
She describes the split from the “Calm Down” rapper as “heinous” and alluding to the fact it was her fans that got her through a difficult time.
Halsey recalls this, when she had a moment of realisation during a performance on Good Morning America, when during her performance she sae “these two girls, one with pink hair, one with blue hair” describing them as “cool as f***, still loving me”. She then goes on to say that “if those girls can be brave in who they are, then I owe the, better”. The “Without Me” singer adds “if the thing that’s happened to me so far is that I wore dumb clothes and date a s***** dude, then I think I’m going to be alright.
Nowadays, it appears that Halsey is more private regarding her love life, in the same interview she goes on to say that she “shared a lot about myself, assuming the world would be kind” and goes on to explain that it isn’t necessarily the case.
G-Eazy and Halsey had previously dated for about a year before calling time on their romance in July 2018. The pair seemed to have reconciled after 2018’s MTV Video Music Awards but split up for the final time in October 2018.
As far everyone is aware, Halsey is currently dating Doncaster musician Yungblud and has done since around last December.
