All those craving a summer break are in luck, as holidays to Greece 'could be back as early as May'.
According to an article published by The Times, the Greek Government is currently talking about opening up their borders to vaccinated British tourists. Plans currently in talks would mean that airport and holiday resort staff would be vaccinated so that Greece can reopen their tourism sector. EU leaders will be expected to say that the restrictions being lifted are 'too soon', but this depends on case numbers at the time and whether non-essential travel will continue to be restricted. Greece opened up their borders Summer 2020 to UK tourists when case numbers were low. The current roadmap says we will see international travel allowed to return no earlier than May 17.
