Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner has had to put on a brave face - to say a tragic and unexpected goodbye to their dog, Waldo Picasso.
TMZ reports that the couple’s Alaskan Klee Kai was killed when he was hit by a car on Wednesday, July 24 in New York City. According to Joe’s representative, Waldo was reportedly out for a stroll with his dog walker when he got “spooked,†and suddenly broke from his leash, and ran out into the street. Joe’s rep described it as a “freak accident.†While Joe and Sophie have yet to comment publicly about their loss, TMZ adds that the pair reportedly filed a police report on Friday after seeking therapy to cope with the death of their dog. Joe and Sophie only brought Waldo home in April 2018, where he joined his older brother, Porky Basquiat, who was recently served as one of Joe’s groomsmen in their second wedding ceremony in France.
