Nicki Minaj has issued an apology following her shocking retirement announcement.
The "Anaconda" hitmaker sent fans into a frenzy on Thursday (September 5) after revealing she was officially leaving the music industry to start a family with Kenneth Petty. The original tweet has since been deleted and replaced with an apology, in which she acknowledges she could have been a little more empathetic.
"I'm still right here. Still madly in love with you guys & you know that," the rapper wrote on Twitter. "In hindsight, this should've been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt & insensitive, I apologize babe."
